In Your Own Words: Creative Writing | 13-16 years
Fun, exploratory in-class writing exercises help you learn about poetry, prose and drama. Enjoying supportive space to experiment and transform the traditional into new and unique ways of writing, you find your writing voice and vision of community. Together, you produce an anthology of students’ work.

The world is at once mystifying, exhilarating, daunting and bewildering. This workshop includes individual fiction, nonfiction and poetry writing,
collaborative writing, readings and discussions. You take part in dialogue about what makes sense and what doesn’t and to create written arts that ask questions, reach for answers and imagine a better world.
