Burnaby’s largest community grass roots festival provides opportunities for fun and creativity for the whole family. The event promotes community pride by inviting and showcasing a variety of service and “helping” organizations and groups involved in arts and culture, heritage, sports, leisure, and the environment. Discovery Day addresses key municipal goals concerning leisure services and arts and culture, presenting a variety of music, live theatre, street performances, and interactive visual arts activities.
